2016 Sewing Goals

What better way to start a new blog than with a post about new goals for the new year? I have intentions to make 2016 a very successful, productive year in every aspect, including creatively. This list may grow, but here are some starters:
  • Customize my dress form - I've been wanting to do this for a long time. Stella (my dress form) is great as she is, but she can be even greater. I will be using a Craftsy class as my guide in getting this done.
  • Sewing room makeover - I am very blessed that I have an entire room (or two) that I use exclusively for sewing and crafting. Unfortunately, it's kind of a mess right now.
  • Stash busting - I have tons of fabric I've collected over the past couple of years. Time to do something with them.
  • Sew a great pair of jeans - I started working on the Liana Stretch Jeans pattern from Itch to Stitch a couple of weeks ago. I still get weepy at the thought.
  • Finish 3 UFOs - I don't have many UFOs fortunately, but the ones I do have have been in the UFO state for a VERY long time. Like years.
  • Sew some beautiful lingerie - Again with Craftsy as my guide, I'll be making some beautiful lingerie.
  • Finish 2 me-made work wardrobes - One for spring/summer, one for fall/winter.
I know there's more, but I'll do an update a little later on. Guess I better go get started!
